About Charles Black

Mr. Black began his law practice in Georgia in 1983 with an emphasis on business. He has represented both creditors and debtors in bankruptcy proceedings. He has participated as counsel in bankruptcy adversary proceedings and Tax Court. His present practice focuses on business litigation, taxes and bankruptcy.

Charles C. Black received his undergraduate degree from the University of West Florida, with a major in accounting in 1977.
He received his law degree from Woodrow Wilson College of Law in 1980. He was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1980.

Mr. Black was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 1979 in Georgia. He practiced as a C.P.A. from 1977 through 1995. Presently his C.P.A. certificate is inactive.

After receiving an undergraduate degree Mr Black worked as a staff accountant with a regional CPA firm while attending law school at night. After law school he was employed as a tax manager with a Internationale accounting firm.
